Hong Kong for Team Mission and I was a great experience. Yes it was a culture shook and the food was different but what stayed consistent for us was the roller hockey. The HKIC gave more evidence to us that Hong Kong is a growing market for upcoming hockey players. The Hong Kong International Cup is a tournament that has been around for 11 years now, being the biggest Roller hockey tournament of all Asia..
Team Mission and I walked away from the tourney with one word to describe it..."potential" This tourney has the potential to be bigger than it already is. The potential to be the best international amateur tournament in the world. With support from Mission and others the HKIC is only a year or couple years away from having more North American teams join the experience.
